I’m going with Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII too. I’m not really a big fan of fighting/killing games either, but Final Fantasy is just so different and the storyline is so amazing. I have been waiting for something this good since the original Final Fantasy VII, which I played over 8 years ago and this is the only game to match it (although Final Fantasy X on the PS2 came close).
To be honest, the games available on the PSP have been a big disappointment for me. It was touted as being this great portable machine for everyone, but the USD movies were all geared for guys as are most of the games. The only exceptions seeming to be the endless Sims games and they are always full of bugs (witness how many people on Answers are having technical difficulties with various Sims games?).
Final Fantasy (with the exception of the recent FFXII) has always been a series that has appealed to guys and girls equally. The guys get their fighting and heroics – the girls get a great love story and wonderful places to explore. More importantly, Crisis Core is the best game on any system since the original Final Fantasy. And now we know that Final Fantasy VII IS going to be remade, Crisis Core (the prequel to Final Fantasy VII) isn’t so much of a fan thing and a bit of glossy nostalgia for us FFVII fans – it actually has some baring in the game world and it’s far and away the best game made for the PSP so far.

My girlfriend has a few games for her PSP you might like
Crisis Core would be awesome but unless youve played final fantasy 7 you might get a little lost.
she tells me that Me and My Katamari is a fun game, you also might try Ape Escape.

of course there is always SIMS which is always fun and addictive
